Photo Editing Tutorials

New website

I have decided to create a new website – just for the fun of it and to help me keep in touch with using Flash and the like!  As they say use it or lose it!

I am going to venture down the path of creating it in Flash CS5 Professional – this will be a first for me.  My previous websites have been created using Dreamweaver but housing flash swf files within.  Lets hope I make it to the end of my journey.  I will document it using this blog and highlight the joys and pains of it all!

Progress with this website has been a bit slow, it’s hard working all day and finding the time to sit at my laptop by night! It happens in spurts I have to say! Now that I have worked out how to display my images I think I’m on a roll :)

I found this tutorial to help me create a moving slide bar holding my thumbnails and I am so pleased with it. I find coding difficult but having found this tutorial I have customized it to suit my website and it’s looking good -

I will give the steps taken once I have everything worked out.

It’s time to knife a Chicken

This poem was brilliantly composed by William Hayes (my son) and Frank Russell (best friend) both aged 12.  It is a poem about spring, I hope you enjoy it :)

It’s time to knife a Chicken

Spring is a time of year

everyone is full of cheer

There are new trees and flowers for the bees.

Animals are born

and cows grow horns

The water is wet

I’m going to the Vet for the new born animal.

The wind is cold

I was told

The weather is warm

and so is the corn.

Ham is nice

So is rice

The grass is growing

I have to go mowing.

The End.
